Our story
From one classroom to four campuses
Wattlebrook College opened in February 1987 with 64 students in a converted church hall on Archer Street, Chatswood. The founding families wanted a school that combined high expectations with genuine care: a place where every child would be known.
Today Wattlebrook is an independent, co-educational, non-selective K–12 college of more than 2,300 students on four campuses across Sydney. Our motto, Rooted in learning, reaching for more, still describes who we are.
